I know it’s not monday anymore…I was supposed to post this yesterday but there was a problem with my internet connection (;__;) So last Sunday I went to One Ok Rock concert and it was epic and amazing. Taka’s voice was beautiful and perfect. Anyway I just want to share with you my impression of One OK Rock concert using a bunch of reaction gifs.
When I found out about One OK Rock’s Europe and Asia tour
When my mum gave me the permission to watch it
When there was only one pre-sale ticket left
When I saw the crowds
When I was in a queue waiting for the gate to be opened
When someone was trying to cut in
When I saw the stage
When I realized that the stage was not high enough and there was only one small screen, and I couldn’t even see the stage.
When the crowds started screaming like fangirls when the show hasn’t even started yet and I didn’t even know what was going on because all I could see are people’s heads.
When the show was about to start
When Taka started singing
When someone started pushing others just to get closer to the stage
When Taka started singing my favourite song (most of them are my favourite though)
When Ryota sang Indonesia’s National Anthem (Indonesia Raya)
When I thought the show was over
But then it turned out that it was not over yet and there was still one last song
When the show was over
So in short…
It’s already October, eh? Only two months left and it’ll be a brand new year again. Time sure flies really fast. Anyway, I didn’t plan to make pumpkin pie but then I went to supermarket and saw those delicious looking pumpkins so I ended up buying it.
I didn’t waste any minutes, I bought it, went straight home, cut the pumpkin into chunks and boiled it with cinnamon.
While I was waiting until the pumpkin is soft, I started to make the pie dough. This one I made is the easiest pie dough. You don’t even need to measure it, just feel it with your hands. I only used flour, pinch of baking powder, and butter.
and then I rolled out the dough and checked the pumpkin. Once it has become soft, I strained it and mashed the pumpkin. You can use blender or food processor if you want.
I added cinnamon powder, brown sugar, a bit of granulated sugar, milk, and corn flour to the mixture. Once it has boiled, turn off the heat and let it cool.
Coat it with egg evenly using brush and just put it in the oven.
This cupcake is really easy to make and this is definitely one of my favourite cupcakes. I made Jell-o cookies too beside espresso fudge cupcakes but I will share the recipe for this cupcakes first.
- 1 cup flour
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa
- 2 tsp espresso powder
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 egg
- 3/4 cup milk
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
- 1 cup butter
- 3-4 tsp cocoa powder
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar or confectioners sugar
Sift flour in a bowl, mix it with cocoa, espresso powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. In a separate bowl, cream butter and sugar on high speed until light and fluffy. Reduce speed to low and add the vanilla and egg. Mix well and turn off the mixer. Using a spatula, add milk and flour mixture alternately (I prefer this way so the cupcakes will become soft). Stir in chocolate chips and pour into lined cupcake pan. Bake at 350° for 20 minutes or until toothpick comes out almost clean.
Cream butter and sugar on high speed until creamy. While beating add vanilla and cocoa powder gradually. Spread the frosting on cooled cupcakes with a spatula. top with chocolate chips or coffee bean if you want.
My mum bought me loads of food colouring, so yesterday I was wondering what should I use all these food colouring for but then my mum said she wants to make cookies like kaastengels and nastar for Eid Day. I decided to make DOCTOR WHO themed cookies for celebrating the 50th anniversary of DOCTOR WHO and because Matt Smith is leaving DW this year too. I know it looks really messy XD it was my first time to decorate cookies and I don’t have the tools so I used toothpick and straw lol.
To make this cookie dough is actually very simple, I only used butter, eggs, flour, and baking powder. Since yesterday was the first time I made icing for decorating cookies, I used this recipe for the icing because it has a great review and pretty simple. I didn’t use corn syrup so I tried to substitute it with simple syrup made from granulated sugar.
I only used 4 colours, sky blue, cherry red, coal black, and white. To make TARDIS blue, I mixed sky blue and a little bit of coal black and for the window I used fondant and a little bit of white food colouring. It was quite hard to get the right colour for TARDIS, so make sure you don’t put too much black.

The third epidode of Free! is already out and I’ve made some gifs from it because I couldn’t help but giggle till the end watching Rei-chan’s acts. He is so adorable and how could you not ship Rei and Nagisa? I ship them so hard XD I’ve posted them on tumblr but well why not?
These are my favourite scenes :
Look! Nagisa’s waiting for Rei
Aww~ Nagisa is so happy.. Look at his adorable face
Rei is startled because maybe it’s the first time someone approached him like that
aaah, Rei-chan! stop being so adorable x3 I love how Rei blushed because Nagisa called him Rei-chan :> He even glanced at Nagisa. So cuteeeee!!
I love Nagisa’s personality
Rei-chan is such a tsundere XD
Look at these two! They’re so adorable x3
Rei : “Why does it have to be me?”
Nagisa : “The main reason is because you looked beautiful.”
Oh my…This part is precious. Look how surprised and blushed Rei is because of Nagisa. Rei always following theories and calculations before he jumps but the coach said he needs to stop doing it because he doesn’t make any progress. Nagisa is different, he told Rei that his pose while jumping is so beautiful and said that it’s not something everybody can do. Instead of asking him to stop doing calculations, Nagisa asked him to use it for swimming. I think it’s the first time someone told him that and maybe this is the reason why he finally agreed to join.
PLOT TWIST : Rei-chan can’t swim
I didn’t expect this at all to be honest. I thought he’s a great swimmer just like what Makoto said. I laughed uncontrollably when Rei was sinking like a stone in swimming pool because wow, what a plot twist.
I told you that Free! is a very promising anime. Just don’t judge it before you watch it yourself.

STARK Bierhaus is a newly opened cafe and lounge at Plaza Indonesia’s eX (Entertainment Xenter). If you’re wondering what is STARK, STARK is local beer brewed in Singaraja Bali and as you can guess, Bierhaus is Beer House in German. So in short, STARK Bierhaus is a place where we can drink STARK beer and of course you can enjoy the food too. The first time I knew about STARK beer is actually at Ennichisai. I wanted to drink something because it was hot that day. I stumbled upon a stall that sell Sapporo Beer and STARK Beer, I’ve never heard of STARK before and the price was cheap (around 20k) so I decided to buy it. I took the first sip and yes, that hit the spot. The beer was very light and a little sweet and it was very refreshing. It tasted so good I didn’t expect it to be a local beer.
Since I like the beer so much, I googled STARK Beer and I found out that they just opened their own cafe&lounge at eX. I didn’t waste any time, I went there the same week I found out about the Bierhaus. Went there with my mum and my sis, we ordered Bratwurst, german sausage served with roasted potatoes and sauerkraut, The Bonanza, a “big” selections of german sausages served with mashed or roasted potatoes, Pork Chop, grilled pork chop seved with sauce, roasted potatoes, and sauerkraut.
It went down hill from there. The portion is very small, the bratwurst looked very lonely and sad because the plate was ironically big and there was only one bratwurst with a huge pile of potatoes and sauerkraut. The sharing dish, Bonanza, wasn’t big I can finish that by myself. The pretty decent dish was the pork chop. The portion wasn’t too small, the meat was tender and I loved the sauce.
Overall, I think the foods and drinks are a little bit overpriced since the portions are very small (around 75k – 250k). The place itself is quiet and has a nice ambience. The question is, will I come again? Nope, I don’t think so, but the beer… you should try it out.
